excuse me while i treat my blog like a post-it note.

This is more for my own reference than anything, but we are getting family pictures taken on the beach this fall when we're visiting FL... and I'm playing around with outfit ideas. Have you ever heard of Polyvore? It's so great. You can make collages of clothing, just like these. WARNING: it's almost as addicting as pinterest!

These colors aren't exactly right, but it will keep a general idea in my head of what i want.

Sarah's Chickens

I had a weekend full of photography at the Bailey's. Engagement pictures for Natalie and Ty, and a sweet session with Celeste and Wyatt. Not to be out done by her big sisters, Sarah requested her own kind of photo shoot: with her chickens. This girl cracks me up. She has each of her twenty something chickens named, and can tell them all apart. I'm impressed. They all pretty much look the same to me.

*correction: Sarah has notified me that she has 33 chickens, not 20 something chickens... my bad. i told you there were too many to keep track of.

Celeste and Wyatt

Meet my friend Celeste and her son Wyatt. Celeste and I have been friends our whole lives and it's pretty neat that we both have boys. Speaking of our boys, they love each other. There was some hard core bonding going on last weekend, and it made my heart happy. Wyatt is as sweet as he is cute. Which is a ton.

He had to get a picture with his gun :)

Natalie and Ty- part two

In case you missed it, you can find the first post of Natalie and Ty's engagement pictures here.

My favorite part of their whole shoot was when I asked Ty to start a water fight with Natalie. He (pleasantly) surprised me by jumping right on board. The following are an even better result than I could have asked for. Nat was a trooper :)

Natalie and Ty's Engagement Session

Last weekend I had the joy of doing some photo shoots with the Bailey's. Natalie asked me to do her engagement pictures, which was really weird and exciting at the same time. I'm like, old or something. She may be twenty but in my head she's still twelve :) While I was in town I also took pictures for Celeste and Sarah, which I will post later. As for Natalie... I'm so happy for her and I was honored to be able to capture her and her fiance at such an exciting time in their lives. They were a lot of fun to work with, and easy to shoot. Once I got them comfortable in front of the camera, they took direction well and I didn't have to push any emotion out of them. They're so in love it just oozes out them. And it's super adorable.

Here are the photos of Ty and little miss Natalie, who is (apparently) old enough to get married... i just must have missed it.
